The Commonwealth Bank Provides CuttingEdge Technology at the Australian Wildlife Health Centre

The Commonwealth Bank has generously supported the AWHC through the development of multimedia touch-screen technology and a dedicated website – technology that enables public access to the incredible stories of rescue, treatment and survival at the AWHC.

The website and interactive multimedia touch screens located at the Centre provide visitors with in-depth information about Australian wildlife, including anatomy, nutrition, care, rehabilitation and conservation. This partnership also includes a new custom-designed veterinary database, to assist veterinary staff to analyse patient cases and information. The database will be integrated with the AWHC website, enabling visitors to track the progress of injured wildlife during the course of treatment. The connection between the database and website will allow AWHC staff to share their daily work with a global audience.
